Getting started
What area do you work in?
The Greater Andover area, including North Reading, Reading, Wilmington and Tewksbury, across Essex & Middlesex counties.
How do I get started, and what happens next?
Send a request with up to 5 photos, stored privately. I reply within one business day, and I agree on a time to talk or, for most jobs, to visit. After I see the work, you get the scope and price in writing before anything starts.

The work I take on
What is the smallest job you take?
A half-day visit, about four hours. That can be several tasks grouped into one day. A single small task is best grouped with a few others.
What is a punch list?
A list of repair and finish-up tasks, such as a drywall patch, a gap in the baseboard, a door that won't latch or a loose cabinet hinge, grouped into one half-day or full-day visit.
Do you remodel bathrooms?
Yes, for tile and finish work: tile for floors, walls and surrounds, repair of finished surfaces, and caulking and resealing.
Do you build custom vanities and built-ins?
Yes. I build custom cabinetry, vanities, open shelving and built-ins to order in my workshop from hardwoods such as walnut, white oak and maple, then measure on site and install them. Custom pieces are quoted after a visit.
What if my job needs another trade?
Some work belongs with another trade, like pipe work, wiring and roofing. Ask and I'll point you to someone good.

Pricing & paperwork
How is a job priced?
Punch lists are priced task by task in half-day or full-day visits. Larger projects are priced from a clear scope, in phases with options listed. Most jobs start with a visit; small, clear-cut jobs may be scoped from photos. A deposit is no more than one-third of the total price, or the cost of special-order materials if that is more.
What if the job changes?
If I find something unexpected or you want to add something, I stop and explain it. The change is written up with its price, and you approve it in writing before that work starts. The job itself is under a written contract.
04
During the job
What happens during and after the job?
You get photo updates, a short note and a written decisions log. How often, and in how much detail, is agreed when your project is approved. When the work is done, I check it first and fix what I find, then walk it with you and put anything left on one list.
05
Who leads the work
Who leads the work?
An owner-led business: I lead every job from the first visit to the final walkthrough. On larger projects we bring in vetted, experienced trades for specific phases, and I stay on the job coordinating them.
